Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imaging Services Manager to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our imaging center, ensuring that all services are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of employees, budgets, and physician relations to ensure the smooth operation of the imaging center.
  • Develop and implement center goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements of the practice.
  • Monitor and enforce radiation safety compliance measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate center budgets, and ensure that the center operates in compliance with allocated funding.
  • Lead a team of center supervisors, mentoring and coaching them in areas of excellence to build self-sufficient leaders.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to increase patient satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Develop strong relationships with referring physicians, attorneys, paralegals, and insurance adjusters to promote the center's imaging services.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports outlining referring trends, market analyses, successes, and recommendations for new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or minimum 8 years experience leading a Radiology Department.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant imaging experience to include management of personnel, budgets, and physician relations.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
