Job Summary

University of Miami is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Plantation, Florida. As a Clinic Level II Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients, documenting nursing care and reporting symptoms and changes in patients' condition and vital signs.
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses, conditions, and physician orders.
  • Review, evaluate, and report diagnostic tests to assess patient's condition.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments, considering patient age and culture.
  • Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support and performing appropriate patient tests and safely administering medications within the scope of practice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing required.
  • Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods and procedures, and health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Excellent patient experience skills, ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems, and ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
