Job Summary:

As a Social Work Manager at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for overseeing a small group or program, with both administrative and client caseload responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement budget recommendations to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Contribute to hiring decisions with veto authority and provide input on staffing and performance evaluations.
  • Design and implement programs within the unit, including IOP/Adolescent/Crisis Team.
  • Monitor access indicators and ensure effective utilization management.
  • Kaiser Permanente reserves the right to reevaluate and change job descriptions or positions from salaried to hourly pay status.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years of post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
  • Masters degree in applied behavioral science required.
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) required.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of state regulations regarding ethics, treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
