Job Overview

Our client, a leading cannabis producer and brand located in Southern California, is in search of a Bulk Sales Manager to spearhead and enhance the sales of bulk flower from their cultivation facilities. This position requires close collaboration with company leadership and the cultivation and distribution teams to develop and implement a B2B strategy for bulk flower sales, which includes pricing, client management, deal closure, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, generate leads, and finalize bulk flower sales through in-person meetings to establish robust and enduring distribution channels.
  • Conduct cold calls to generate leads and perform daily sales activities, including submitting end-of-day reports, call logs, notes, and evidence of sales visits/appointments.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing clients by executing email marketing campaigns and follow-ups to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Establish and maintain a CRM system to support overall sales objectives and track marketing and sales interactions.
  • Provide insights on market trends, pricing, and strain selection to stay ahead of market dynamics and assist with internal marketing efforts to drive sales.
  • Identify and engage potential business partners, vendors, and suppliers to cultivate and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Maintain flexible pricing models based on quality and potency, and negotiate contract terms and conditions with business partners and vendors.
  • Set and achieve sales targets while reviewing sales performance to maximize revenue.
Qualifications:
  • Must reside within the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Southern California as needed for client engagements.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of bulk sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals and moving products.
  • An established network and solid relationships within the Southern California cannabis industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive demeanor.
  • Experience in driving strategic sales initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in distributor management and contract/vendor negotiations.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade effectively.
  • Highly organized and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation:

$70,000 - $75,000 Salary plus commission
