Job Summary

This position requires a CDL driver to operate state vehicles and perform donor operations processes according to standard operating procedures (SOP). The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of vehicle laws and fleet management policies, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate state vehicles according to state law and fleet management guidelines.
  • Perform donor operations processes according to SOP.
  • Remain knowledgeable of all vehicle laws and fleet management policies.
  • Report any adverse events involving a vehicle or customer according to SOP and institutional policy.
  • Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain donor vehicles, processing equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform inventories and provide timely information on supplies and reagents.
  • Troubleshoot vehicles, donor equipment, and report problems and document as required.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new equipment and provide timely information.
  • Maintain vehicles and supply areas neat and orderly while preventing waste.
  • Manage all customer service interactions with diplomacy and actively facilitate resolutions to problems and address the needs of clients both internal and external.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of Class A or B commercial driving experience.
  • Class A or B current Texas Commercial Driver License (CDL).
  • Good driving record as verified with the Texas Department of Transportation.
  • Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
