Job Overview:

Memphis-Shelby County Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to help students overcome communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide consistent support for students
  • Develop educational materials and interventions to minimize the impact of communication disorders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders, Speech and Hearing Language Impaired, Speech Pathology or a related degree
  • Master's degree in Communicative Disorders, Speech and Language Impaired, Speech Pathology or any related degree preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Language Association

Estimated Salary: $75,000 per year
