Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Resurgens Orthopaedics. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic MRI studies in a safe and efficient manner, while delivering exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Screen patients and others entering the MRI area to ensure a safe environment
  • Send images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Register patients in our computer system(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by MRI management
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • ARRT registration in good standing
  • Experience with GE and Siemens magnets preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Outstanding patient care skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and talk for extended periods. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required. The employee must be able to lift, push, and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment

The employee may be exposed to infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The work environment may also involve exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Privacy & Security Awareness

The employee must remain aware of Resurgens policies, Information Security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures for minimizing threats and ensuring protection of PHI. The success of HIPAA policies and procedures depends on the awareness and buy-in of everyone involved in daily healthcare operations, including reporting incidents to their supervisor or directly to the HIPAA leadership.
