Position: Surety Underwriter

Overview:
The Surety Underwriter will be responsible for managing the underwriting of surety bonds within the construction and commercial sectors. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily underwriting functions, ensuring the implementation of effective underwriting strategies and pricing policies.
  • Lead and develop the underwriting team through effective recruitment, training, and continuous professional development.
  • Foster strong relationships with brokers and agents, managing agency interactions to enhance business opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in surety underwriting or related fields.

Compensation:
Salary range from $140,000 to $250,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as opportunities for professional advancement.
