High Speed Cable Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our High Speed IO Cables team in Nashua, NH.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to drive significant engineering impact in state-of-the-art datacenter, cloud, 5G, storage, and enterprise I/O applications. This role will involve communicating and working with customers and internal product managers to understand product requirements/performance specifications.

  • This includes converting those into new product designs, production tooling, manufacturing processes, qualification testing, and the transfer to volume production sites.
Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the High Speed Copper-Based I/O Cable Assembly Design Team: Oversee engineers within the group to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Drive Product and Technology Roadmaps: Develop and communicate roadmaps to customers while ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Mentor and Oversee the Engineering Team: Provide training and guidance to help team members grow within the organization.
  • Collaborate with Peers: Share best practices with peers and other engineering managers to enhance methods and workflows.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Identify and resolve signal integrity issues in high-speed data transmission systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering: A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Engineering Management Experience: Ideally, in a Signal Integrity group.
  • Proficiency in Simulation Tools: Familiarity with Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave is necessary.
  • Experience with Measurement and Debugging Tools: Knowledge of TDR, VNA, pattern generators, and error detectors.
