About the Role:

As a Medical Assistant at Mount Carmel Health System, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the provider with patient assessment, examinations, and treatment. You will also be responsible for documenting patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physician with patient assessment, examinations, and treatment.
  • Document patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
  • Set up for various procedures and assist physicians with procedures as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a medical assistant program or completion of academic programs in advanced medical skills such as EMT, EMT-P, LPN, or a Military Medical Corpsman training course and/or current enrollment in nursing program.
  • Obtain Nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
  • Self-motivated, independent, organized, able to prioritize work.
  • Exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to work as a member of a team.
