Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the acute care setting of the emergency department or inpatient area utilizing various nursing skills and established standards of care at the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Practical Nursing Formal Education approved by the NM Board of Nursing required.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse-NM required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • PDS IV Certification course within orientation period required.
