Behavioral Health Specialist for Early Childhood TFK

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral health consultation to childcare program staff on issues related to mental health and challenging behaviors in young children.
- Work collaboratively with childcare staff to promote social-emotional development in the program and prevent suspensions and expulsions.
- Conduct client evaluations, including bio-psychosocial assessments, diagnostic formulations, and initial treatment plan recommendations.
- Meet with clients and their families to provide counseling and assist clients in attaining treatment goals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are behaviorally oriented, measurable, and appropriate for the identified level of care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field).
- Licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting working with children, adolescents, and families with severe behavioral, social, and emotional difficulties.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual preferred.
- Experience in behavioral health or addiction is preferred.
