Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational community information, including vendor contacts, employee rosters, budgets, and marketing strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Cardinal HQ and on-site teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and analyze reports to monitor community performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to Community Managers to ensure adherence to best practices and company policies.
  • Monitor team member performance, provide feedback, and facilitate development and corrective action when necessary.
  • Contribute to capital improvement projects and participate in Cardinal U training as required.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, with a proven track record of leadership and motivation.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and analytical skills, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and think critically to solve problems.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a strong understanding of Cardinal's Core Values and Culture.
Work Environment:

The Portfolio Manager will work primarily in an office environment, with frequent exposure to outside elements, including temperature, weather, and odors. The position requires routine local travel and occasional overnight travel for training, client visits, and other business-related activities.
