Job Overview:
Act as a key resource and authority on the content, methodologies, and protocols related to both vendor and internally developed applications.
Document functional specifications, evaluate requirements within the framework of software and operational processes, create testing strategies, support business process enhancement initiatives, and address data production challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect requirements from various business units and translate them into actionable tasks for programmers and developers. Develop user stories.
2. Assume responsibility and collaborate with business units and the development team to promptly address data quality issues.
3. Manage the lifecycle of programs including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
4. Provide updates on project status and escalate any issues or risks to the senior management team in accordance with the project timeline.
5. Facilitate effective communication across the project team.
6. Engage with clients to understand their information processing or computational requirements.
Required Skills:
- Proficient understanding of Liquidity Risk Reporting, FR Y-14 Regulatory Reporting, and Capital Markets domain concepts.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including statistical analysis and the ability to scrutinize large, intricate data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with software tools such as ETL Tool Informatica, Oracle, and Autosys workflow.
- Basic understanding of design techniques and principles relevant to the creation of drawings and models.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a well-rounded combination of quantitative, consultative, and leadership skills.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Possession of an Agile certification or relevant working knowledge is essential.
A minimum of 12 years of professional experience is required.
