Position Summary

We are seeking a Supervisor to lead our Intensive Residential Service Home. This role is newly established in the area and is a direct result of our organizational growth.

This leadership position will manage a 4-bed Intensive Residential Service Home, collaborating closely with the Mental Health Coordinator and Mental Health Director to ensure effective service coordination and oversight.

The Intensive Residential Services program caters to adults facing mental health challenges, behavioral health issues, intellectual disabilities, or co-occurring conditions. This short-term, hands-on rehabilitation service is delivered within the client's living environment, aiming to assist individuals in stabilizing through support with medication adherence, appointment management, crisis planning, behavior modification, and skill development, facilitating their successful reintegration into their chosen community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic leadership to staff and clients.
  • Oversee daily operational activities of the service home.
  • Conduct referral assessments, manage admissions, and facilitate smooth transitions for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with client service plans in all aspects of HCBS services.
  • Coordinate client care through weekly coordination sessions and monthly team meetings, maintaining communication with the client’s support team.
  • Supervise staff, including scheduling, regular check-ins, coaching, and conducting annual performance evaluations.
  • Onboard new team members and provide continuous training and support.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in mental and/or behavioral health services.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including database programs and Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds without restrictions.
  • Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance as mandated by state regulations.
  • Reliable transportation and access to a telephone are essential.
  • Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification within the first 30 days of employment and maintain it throughout employment.
  • Successfully complete all required competency-based training within designated timeframes.
