Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder in Stoneham, MA. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational or technical certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
Benefits:
  • Average weekly pay: $1297.20
  • Hourly pay: $32.43 per hour
  • Certification bonus: up to $700
  • Quarterly bonus: up to $500
  • Sign-on bonus: $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
  • Tool allowance: $425 per year
