About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team and oversee the maintenance of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including the maintenance of HVAC, utilities, lawn care, snow removal, scrap and waste removal, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct and indirect reports while promoting a safety-focused culture.
  • Maximize and improve the utilization of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Champion the annual maintenance budget by preparing, monitoring, and evaluating the budget status on a quarterly basis.
  • Oversee all facilities maintenance, including the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Maintain and improve our site ticketing system and preventative maintenance program.
  • Propose and manage 3-6 capital expenditure (CapEx) and facility projects at a time.
  • Identify areas of training improvement.
  • Work to improve machine guarding and arc flash best practices.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the maintenance team, including downtime, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) cost, etc.
  • Lead cost reduction and inventory analysis for the MRO areas.
  • Oversee all site cranes and forklifts, including purchasing and leasing, as well as maintenance.
  • Approve and manage all facility vendors and contractors and approve service contracts.
  • Ensure document management, including invoices, etc.
  • Read blueprints as needed and utilize AutoCAD for work cell and plant layouts.
  • Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in a similar facilities maintenance management role.
  • Experience supervising maintenance team members.
  • Experience with project timeline and budget management.
  • Experience overseeing contractors and/or vendors.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong documentation skills, including work instructions, training documentation, skilled matrix, etc.
  • Experience working with a CMMS and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience overseeing an annual budget.
  • Capital equipment projects.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.
  • Production maintenance support.
