Dishroom Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at Bob Evans. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom area, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized dishroom area, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly washed, dried, and stored.
- Remove cardboard and grease from the dishroom area and maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot.
- Participate in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including the foyer, front porch, and sidewalk.
- Empty trash from designated areas throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure 100% guest satisfaction regarding dining room cleanliness.
- May be asked to assist in other job categories as needed.
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant environment.
- Ability to rely on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- General knowledge of commercial dishwashing is preferred but not required.
- Must maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time.
