Job Title: Chemist II

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking a highly skilled Chemist II to join our team. As a Chemist II, you will play a critical role in verifying and validating analytical data on environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical review and validation support on environmental projects
  • Support the preparation of work plans, reports, sampling, and analysis plans (SAPs)/quality assurance project plans (QAPPs)
  • Communicate with subcontract laboratories and review technical documents
  • Manage databases and provide data validation and data management
  • Work with technical staff to support project objectives and field operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Environmental Studies, or related discipline
  • Five to ten years of experience providing analytical review/validation and support on environmental projects
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations/guidance for Alaska
  • Knowledge of SW-846 methodology and sample handling requirements
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle under Brice Engineering's Driving Policy
