Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Substation Project Leader to manage a variety of substation initiatives, collaborating closely with utility providers. This position entails overseeing substations that involve high and medium voltage electrical distribution for data center facilities. Effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main liaison for stakeholders, delivering project updates and managing design timelines.
  • Support clients, design teams, and construction personnel throughout all phases of the project.
  • Contribute to the design process, ensuring that client specifications are fulfilled.
  • Facilitate project meetings, maintain comprehensive project plans, and identify potential risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, design teams, and manufacturers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, ideally in Substation Engineering Design for Data Centers.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and proficiency in leading meetings effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and provide mentorship.
  • Self-driven with outstanding communication skills and expertise in relevant software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a PE License and PMP Certification is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience with high and medium voltage power distribution systems.
