Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to become an integral part of our healthcare team, delivering exceptional care to our residents in alignment with their individualized care plans. In this role, you will oversee the daily nursing operations conducted by LPNs, MACs, and CNAs within assigned nursing units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily nursing activities during your assigned shift
- Deliver comprehensive resident care, including evaluations, treatments, and medication administration
- Engage in effective communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and responses
- Conduct medication pass audits to ensure compliance
- Facilitate resident activities and escalate any concerns to management
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse license in the relevant state
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing environment
- CPR certification required
- Proficient computer skills
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move throughout the facility during the workday
- Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping
- Visual and auditory acuity
- Capability to push, pull, or lift at least 100 pounds
- Standing and walking for approximately 75% of the shift
- Ability to manage mental and emotional stress effectively
