Position Summary:
The Second Shift Retail Leader plays a crucial role in supporting the Assistant General Manager and General Manager in overseeing sales and operational activities during the evening hours. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all essential store roles, including cashier, doughnut decorator, and sanitation duties.
- Assist in executing opening and closing procedures efficiently.
- Support the management team in driving sales through various channels, including retail and fundraising.
- Achieve financial goals by managing income and expenses according to the store budget.
- Promote local marketing initiatives to enhance store visibility and sales.
- Manage resources effectively, including cash handling, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
- Complete corporate reporting accurately and on time.
- Implement strategies to maximize operational efficiencies and maintain product quality.
- Coordinate production schedules to align with customer demand while optimizing labor hours.
- Foster a safe working environment by promoting safety practices and addressing any incidents promptly.
- Engage with customers warmly, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store.
- Assist in the upkeep of store facilities and equipment.
- Support the training and development of team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Enforce company policies and standards consistently, serving as a role model for staff.
- Assist in the implementation of directives from corporate management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic mathematical skills for financial transactions.
- Experience in food service or retail management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills at both strategic and operational levels.
Physical Requirements:
