Job Summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a leader in patient care. Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Assess learning needs and implement effective teaching strategies to educate patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate and delegate tasks effectively to ensure seamless care delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and best practices, applying this expertise to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
