Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Laurels of DeKalb.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing nursing care and services to our guests. This includes supervising the care provided by other team members, administering medications, assessing the health of our guests, and developing individualized plans of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other team members.
  • Administer medications and provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
  • Assess the health of our guests and notify the physician of any changes in status.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on assessments and guest needs.
  • Contribute to the development of guest care plans and assessments.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
  • CPR certification.
