Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking energetic and hard-working individuals with strong organizational and customer service skills to join our clinical team as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). As a key member of our mobile healthcare team, you will work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified laboratory, providing daily patient care and gaining valuable experience.

• Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
• Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
• IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
• Splint application
• Wound care
• Work directly with point of care laboratory equipment including operation, calibration, and maintenance
• Perform EKGs
• Assist NP/PAs in the daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit
• Documentation
• Supply and stocking

Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a core science or lab science and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in chemistry and hematology, especially with experience using an i-STAT device, are encouraged to apply.

• Medical Technician with IV Certification
• Basic Certification, EMT or CMA License (hiring credential only)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• BLS, American Heart Association
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
