Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Med Surg team at Titus Regional Medical Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and support, working closely with our registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care.



Responsibilities

As a CNA, your primary responsibilities will include:



Providing direct patient care and support, including vital sign measurements, personal hygiene, and meal assistance.



Maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring timely and effective communication with the healthcare team.



Assisting with patient transfers, using proper techniques and equipment to ensure patient safety.



Adhering to infection control and prevention protocols, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.



Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring patient needs are met and exceeded.



Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.



Participating in ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and procedures.



Reporting any concerns or issues to the supervisor, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.



Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines, protecting patient privacy and sensitive information.



Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must:



Possess a current Texas State Certified Nurse Aide License.



Have one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a medical-surgical environment.



Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.



Be physically able to perform the demands of the job, including lifting, pushing, and pulling patients and equipment.

A salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
