This role requires advanced training and education, and you will have the opportunity to specialize in care for complex patient types.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify their level of function and develop a treatment plan
- Implement the physical therapy treatment plan and provide education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to modify the treatment plan and achieve patient-specific goals
- Provide oversight of physical therapy-related activities and adjust the plan to improve quality and safety
- Identify opportunities for corrective action and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body
- Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist or completion of a Physical Therapy Residency program
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas or compact license acceptable according to current ECPTOTE requirements
