Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Ridgefield, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in our inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer all forms of respiratory care and treatment to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
  • Monitor patients' oxygen saturation, end-tidal CO2, and blood gas analysis, and adjust therapy as needed.
  • Provide patient and family education on respiratory equipment, services, and disease processes.
  • Assist with discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Perform routine surveillance and equipment inspection to ensure proper use and functioning of respiratory equipment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current RCP and RRT licenses, and BCLS and ACLS certifications.
  • At least 1 year of experience in respiratory care, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
