We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Stability Direct. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from infants to adults.

The Respiratory Therapist will work closely with the Director and Clinical Coordinator of Respiratory/Pulmonary Services to provide comprehensive respiratory care, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to patient care.

• Provide continuous mechanical ventilator support and monitoring for various age groups of patients
• Administer aerosolized medications, provide hyperinflation and bronchial hygiene therapy
• Assess effectiveness of therapy, recognize and report variations or questionable applications
• Teach patients of all ages with all types of disabilities and medical problems
• Perform oxygen therapy using knowledge of indications and benefits of all equipment types
• Perform high humidity and aerosol therapy
• Process reusable respiratory equipment
• Assist with bedside bronchoscopies
• Perform bedside pulmonary function screening when necessary
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) punctures and analysis
• Perform advanced cardiac life support as a member of the Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams
• Perform emergency intubation when Anesthesiologist unavailable
• Perform routine and emergency tracheostomy tube changes
• Perform specialty gas therapy such as heliox therapy, when requested
• Complete documentation in the patient's electronic medical record (EMR)

• Associate's Degree Graduate of a 2-yr Associate degree Respiratory Therapy program approved by the NBRC Required
• Bachelor's Degree 4-yr Bachelor degree Respiratory Therapy program approved by the NBRC Required
• RCP - Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of New Jersey Upon Hire Required
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC credential, or eligible Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support American Heart BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support American Heart ACLS certification within 1 Year Required
