Physician Assistant Educator

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team as an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Physician Assistant program, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver lectures and clinical instruction to students in our Physician Assistant program
- Assist with the planning and implementation of our curriculum, ensuring alignment with established educational standards and practices
- Supervise and mentor students in clinical settings, providing guidance and support as needed
- Perform administrative duties, including grading, advising, and committee work
- Stay current with advances in the field of Physician Assistant education and incorporate best practices into our program
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field
- Minimum of two years of work and/or teaching experience in the area of specialization
- Current certification through the NCCPA and license to practice as a Physician Assistant
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Doctoral Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations
The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced academic environment, with frequent interactions with students, faculty, and staff. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate effectively with others is essential.
