Job Description

KForce's client, a well-established and reputable Distributor, is seeking a seasoned Controller to join their management team. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key player in the financial management of a successful and well-run organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sophisticated management reports and analytics
  • Supervise a small team in performing all accounting functions, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, payroll, cash management, credit and collections, and more
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting (CPA a plus)
  • 10+ years of hands-on accounting management experience for a mid-sized company (50-500 employees) preferably in the wholesale or distribution business
  • Recent Controllership or equivalent experience
  • Some experience with Sales Tax
  • Experience in businesses with product/inventory management (e.g., retail, wholesale)
  • Experience working with ERP systems and some experience with data analytics, including queries, MS-Access, Excel
  • Hands-on approach, having managed books and records, including AR/Credit/AP
  • Solid computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive, upbeat personality
  • Ability to develop budgets, perform variance analysis, and report back to owners on results and action plans

This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $175,000.
