Grant Administrator and Compliance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Grant Administrator and Compliance Specialist to join our team at CAPPS. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced consultative and technical assistance to the TJJD superintendent of education and other administrative staff regarding the agency's education programs for TJJD youth with a focus on the agency's federally funded education programs and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate fiscal data for reasonableness, necessity, and conformity with grant requirements.
- Develop and coordinates a continuing evaluation of the federal/special programs and implements changes based on the findings.
- Conducts and coordinates training to promote and enhance system-wide awareness of grant requirements, techniques for monitoring compliance, procedures relating to requisitions and expenditures, and in the development and integration of new methods and procedures to ensure continued receipt of federal funds.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three (3) years of full-time wage-earning experience in the administration, development, coordination, and monitoring of grants or education programs.
- Experience with Microsoft office products, research, budgeting processes, and statistical analysis processes.
Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, based on location and experience.
