Position Overview:

The IT Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of essential Microsoft tools, as well as the management of domains and IT management solutions. This position is vital for ensuring that our collaboration and productivity tools effectively enhance business operations and drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery are paramount. Adherence to industry standards such as ISO 27001 and COBIT controls is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform products and services at a tenant level.
  • Provide advanced maintenance and support for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform services to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for issues related to Microsoft toolsets.
  • Implement and uphold governance and security models for collaboration and productivity tools, including data classification and DLP policies.
  • Proactively monitor and report on the availability and reliability of Microsoft services.
  • Generate periodic reports on the health, usage, and performance of collaboration tools.
  • Stay updated on the latest features and advancements in Microsoft collaboration technologies.
  • Ensure security by implementing recommended practices and updates.
  • Manage email hygiene policies, including DMARC, DKIM, and SPF.
  • Oversee the management of all company IT domains and internal/external DNS.
  • Handle public security certificates and their renewals.
  • Develop and document technology standards, procedures, and user guides to ensure continuity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the functionality of deployed technologies.
  • Address security vulnerabilities in the toolsets and platforms.
  • Stay informed about new developments in the IT industry.
  • Plan and coordinate upgrades to maintain OEM support.
  • Participate in IT conferences to understand current and future trends in Microsoft services.
  • Utilize scripting and orchestration tools to automate daily IT tasks.
  • Support Cloud Engineering provisioning as needed.
  • Educate and train end users on available collaboration tools to enhance productivity.
  • Assist with annual license renewals and periodic license reviews.
  • Ensure least privilege access for all managed tools.
  • Support internal and external audits, including ISO27001.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft O365 Tenant Management, including Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Defender, Intune, and Power Platform.
  • Expertise in domain and public certificate management.
  • Solid experience with On-Prem Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages or automation tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to work independently and lead technology teams.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent Microsoft certifications.
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Office365, SharePoint, and Azure Services.
  • Relevant Microsoft Certifications.
  • Experience in public certificate and domain management.
  • Good understanding of ISO standards.
