Position Overview:

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Engineering Test Technicians 2 for a contract opportunity. The selected candidates will report to the Operations Test Engineering Manager and will be integral in executing test protocols, along with conducting post-test data analysis and reporting to engineering teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and testing support to engineers across various tasks.
  • Implement comprehensive testing plans for components and systems, including detailed procedures and events.
  • Engage in test planning and readiness evaluations.
  • Assess measurement criteria and the tolerances of testing equipment.
  • Establish and uphold documented best practices for testing processes and apparatus.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of testing equipment and infrastructure.
  • Collect, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, including test results and engineering design modifications.
  • Conduct tests and document findings to assist in engineering assessments.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and reports, including procedures and test outcomes.
  • Address the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve testing issues while supporting manufacturing, inspection, and engineering challenges.
  • Analyze data and generate reports in various formats for customer requirements.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary. Familiarity with Laser Tracking Software, such as Spatial Analyzer, is preferred.


Educational Background:

A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.


Work Schedule:

This position follows a 9/80 work week.
