Trailer Mechanic

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of trailers and heavy-duty equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Repair and replace trailer parts, including brakes, axles, and suspension systems
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure all vehicles are in compliance with regulations
• Work with customers to diagnose and resolve issues with their trailers and equipment
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as heavy duty mechanics or trailer repair
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification preferred
