At Bach to Rock, we are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic music school environment where you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our management team and customers.

About the Role

This Administrative Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, and has excellent communication skills. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for greeting clients, responding to phone calls and emails, maintaining our school schedule, and assisting with recruitment and registration processes.

Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and prospective clients in a polite and courteous manner
  • Respond to internal and external phone calls and email
  • Assist with maintaining the school schedule
  • Assist management in the active recruitment and registration of new students, which may include leading facility tours
  • Assist management in customer service calls to aid in client retention
  • Assist with entering registration and payment information into our contact manager software
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Skillset
  • Ability to interact effectively with the public
  • Ability to interact with children
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment (e.g., telephones, photocopiers, and computers)
  • Ability to be physically present at the facility during its hours of operation
  • Rudimentary knowledge of music and music education
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with staff and management
  • Adaptable to changes in the workplace
  • Ability to pass a background check
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, travel up and down stairs, crouch, stoop, and reach
  • Ability to lift and move equipment typically associated with our day-to-day operations (e.g., amplifiers, keyboards, recording equipment, light furniture, etc.)
Work Environment
  • Basic office environment
  • Music studio

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
