POSITION SUMMARY
The Behavior Analyst serves as the primary clinical authority for a dedicated team and a designated group of clients. It is essential for staff to maintain a minimum of 8 personnel with full caseloads.

Effective leadership and management of staff, along with providing clinical oversight and supervision, are crucial for this role. Behavior Analysts are responsible for ensuring that all team members meet their billing requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct client evaluations utilizing clinically appropriate techniques and formulate individualized service plans (ISPs) based on these assessments.
2. Oversee skill acquisition, generalization, maintenance, problem behaviors, and parent training through an electronic client records management system.
3. Offer clinical supervision and training to clinical staff and assistant behavior analysts within your team.
4. Facilitate regular parent training sessions and maintain ongoing communication with parents to ensure services positively affect families.

5. Assist in all intake and discharge planning activities, including preparing necessary documentation for client insurance authorizations and reauthorizations of services.

6. Supervise clinicians in training (CITs) in the development and monitoring of ISPs, objectives, and methods essential for delivering effective client services.


7. Collaborate with other service providers involved with clients to promote consistency among client families/caregivers and all service providers.
8. Lead and engage in regularly scheduled staff meetings and training sessions.

9. Inspire and guide employees to achieve all job objectives; instill confidence and motivation; clearly articulate expectations and maintain personal effectiveness under pressure.

10. Demonstrate appropriate delegation and coordination of tasks and responsibilities in program operations, utilizing effective organizational and priority-setting skills.


11. Complete all required paperwork and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures, adhering to acceptable clinical practices within designated timeframes.
12. Comply with all policies and procedures and undertake additional tasks as necessary for the effective operation of the program.
13. Stay updated on evidence-based practices by participating in continuing education activities.
14. Uphold professional and ethical standards consistently.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree or higher in a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) approved field
- Licensed Behavior Analyst
- Minimum of one year of successful supervisory or management experience
- At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral disorders
