Key Responsibilities- Test Strategy and Automation: Define test strategy, test suites, and test cases, as well as design tools for QA testing with a focus on automation.
- Process Improvement: Define and implement improvements to our existing processes and automated tools to increase testing scope and efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Software Engineers and Product teams to understand the complex ecosystems of the Broadridge Investor Communications Solutions platforms.
- Automated Script Development: Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability.
- Script Execution and Failure Analysis: Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to determine root cause of failure.
- Issue Triage and Resolution: Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform.
- Manual Testing Support: Where necessary, develop and execute manual test cases, and drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Software Development, Quality Engineering, or other related field.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of VBScript, C#, Java, HTML, and SQL. Experience in test automation using UFT and/or Selenium preferred.
- Soft Skills: Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches. Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues within the quality assurance environment and communicate that knowledge to a varied audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Competitive Salary: The salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $80,000.
