Maintenance Technician Job Description

Lenawee Christian Ministries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks for all building equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, good trouble-shooting skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and report potential issues or problems with equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Maintenance Manager to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Physical Plant and Facilities Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Christian faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.
  • At least 3 years of experience or training in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry.
  • Good mechanical ability and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
