Plant Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility near Adrian, MI.



Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance of the plant, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, while setting a standard of efficiency for processes.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform industrial and facilities maintenance to prevent downtime and minimize unnecessary interruptions.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained to avoid production disruptions.
  • Analyze machine downtime to identify and correct mechanical problems.
  • Read, perform, and write work orders to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements and help maintain a preventative maintenance program.
  • Ensure the availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize machine downtime.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Experience with AC/DC electrical control and power circuits.
  • A basic understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
  • The ability to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
  • Experience with pumps, heat exchangers, valves, and pipe repairs is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with the team.
