Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Executing established projects related to natural resource management.
- Conducting field assessments of natural resource conditions.

Credit will be granted for all relevant experience. To receive credit, your resume must clearly detail the nature of duties and responsibilities for each position held, including employment dates and hours worked.
To qualify for this position at the GS-05 level, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level in federal service, demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary for this role. Examples include conducting environmental monitoring, managing fishery and wildlife data, and maintaining resource management equipment.
- Education: Completion of four years of education beyond high school, leading to a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, or 24 semester hours in related coursework.
- Combination: An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Volunteer Experience: Paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work, will be considered for qualifications.
Education Documentation: To qualify based on education, you must submit transcripts showing your name, school name, credit hours, and grades.
