Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
  • Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
  • Formulate and define technical scope and objectives of project.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
  • Coordinate recruitment or assignment of project personnel/resources.
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel/resources.
  • Coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
  • Adhere to standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules and plans as required.
  • Prepare project status reports and keep management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve/escalate problems.
  • Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications.
  • Monitor project results against technical and customer specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical and project documentation.
  • Develop quality assurance test plans.
  • Direct quality assurance testing.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years experience directly related to Information Technology, knowledge of the methods and techniques of information technology, including some systems analysis and design, telecommunications, computer operations and project management preferred.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office and other desktop systems.
  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated skill in the successful completion of multiple, simultaneous and rapidly emergent tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Ability to analyze operations and organize their parts into a logical system.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, business units, vendors, suppliers and customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
