Key Responsibilities
  • Lubricant Management: Manage lubricant delivery, storage, and dispensation to ensure optimal equipment performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Route Management: Create and manage routes for machinery re-lubrication and/or inspection to ensure timely and efficient maintenance.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly change and/or top-off the oil in mechanical equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Lubricant Selection: Collaborate with our preferred lubricant supplier to select the most suitable lubricants for our industrial machinery, taking into account factors such as base and additive systems.
  • Grease Application: Use standard techniques to select grease application methods that are least intrusive and most effective for industrial machines.
  • Re-Grease Management: Use standard techniques to estimate re-grease volume and interval for industrial machines and adjust according to guidelines and experience.
  • Lubrication Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain lubrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lubricant Analysis: Employ basic oil analysis techniques to identify and troubleshoot abnormal lubricant degradation conditions and adjust the lubricant specification accordingly.
  • Sampling and Testing: Manage lubricant testing and quality assurance, employing proper sampling procedures to ensure representative oil samples are taken consistently.
  • Equipment Inspection: Utilize mechanical aptitude and experience to inspect mechanical equipment and identify/report abnormal conditions.
  • Data Recording: Record lubricant quantities applied and other relevant data as required.
  • Ultrasonic Equipment: Utilize ultrasonic equipment to enable the proper amount of grease to be added and identify abnormal conditions.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities
  • Safety Regulations: Facilitate and ensure adherence to safety regulations, rules, and sound practices.
  • Audits and Compliance: Coordinate and participate in audits, prioritizing and tracking completion of findings to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Corrective Action: Ensure that unsafe behavior and conditions are corrected to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Safety Audits: Perform safety audits and set the example for safety to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Sanitation and Food Safety Responsibilities
  • Sanitation Standards: Ensure the facility maintains world-class sanitation standards to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare the facility for, and participate in, regulatory/third-party/customer/company audits to ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations.

  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand and walk for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work with tools, and work in extreme temperatures.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Industrial Equipment Troubleshooting: Possess experience with hands-on troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Lubrication Technician Certification: Hold a Level 1 Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT1) certification.
  • Spreadsheets and Data Analysis: Possess experience with creating spreadsheets and analyzing data to identify trends and optimize lubricant usage.
  • Lube-It Experience: Have experience with Lube-It, a lubricant management system.
