About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lubrication Technician to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment by managing lubricant delivery, storage, and dispensation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage lubricant delivery, storage, and dispensation to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Create and manage routes for machinery re-lubrication and/or inspection to minimize downtime.
  • Properly change and/or top-off the oil in mechanical equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Collaborate with our preferred lubricant supplier to select the right lubricants for our industrial machinery.
  • Use standard techniques to select grease application methods that are least intrusive and most effective for industrial machines.
  • Employ basic oil analysis techniques to identify and troubleshoot abnormal lubricant degradation conditions.
  • Manage lubricant testing and quality assurance to ensure consistent results.
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude and experience to inspect mechanical equipment and identify/report abnormal conditions.
  • Record lubricant quantities applied and other relevant data.

  • Confident and courteous manner with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to enter data into a spreadsheet or tablet.
  • Self-starter with little supervision required.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with forklift and scissors lift operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with hands-on troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of failure modes and ability to assess equipment condition.
  • Level 1 Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT1) certification.
  • Ability to create spreadsheets and trend data.
