Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and Aveanna Healthcare policies.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
  • One year of experience in pediatrics or a related field (dependent on state requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
