Job Description:

The Pictsweet Company, a leading frozen vegetable producer with 75 years of family-owned and operated history, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Manager to join its team in Bridgeville, DE. As a key member of the company's leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Warehouse and Dry Warehouse, ensuring the efficient management of inventory, receipt of materials, and distribution of frozen vegetables.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise the daily activities of the Warehouse and Dry Warehouse, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality regulations, including Trailer Seal Policy, SOPs, DOT regulations, and other policies and procedures.
* Enforce company rules, including attendance, food safety, production quality, safety, GMPs, and efficiency, and discipline subordinates when non-compliance occurs.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulations relating to food safety and personnel safety, including FDA and OSHA regulations, and comply with all other relevant laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee routine and annual auditing operations to ensure the rapid and timely delivery of products.
* Supervise the forklift fleet to ensure maximum use with minimum downtime and ensure material-handling equipment is safe and meets OSHA standards.
* Oversee the Master Cleaning Schedule for the department and maintain records.
* Interview, recommend hiring, instruct, train, motivate, direct, evaluate, correct, and administer discipline to subordinate personnel, developing a team approach in the effective utilization of available manpower.
* Follow all Company policies and procedures, including SOPs, Employee Handbook, Food Quality Policies, GMP Handbook, HARPC, and Pictsweet Safety Procedures.
* Oversee time and temperature checks on product in the warehouse and be responsible for corrective action when non-compliance occurs.

Qualifications:

* Must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a major warehousing and distribution system, with experience in the food industry preferred.
* Experience should include budget responsibility, personnel and staffing management, inventory control of a complex, high-volume integrated receiving/distribution system, payroll responsibility, forklift training and repair, and experience with automated systems.
* Must have a high school diploma or GED plus 5 years of supervisory experience, with a Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
* Must possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and be computer proficient with spreadsheets and word processing.
* Must be forklift certified and able to work in a collegial manner with other departments to accomplish corporate objectives while achieving departmental goals.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
