Job Summary

Mission Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team in the peri-operative setting. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless patient flow.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists, directing and guiding OR Technicians and other personnel
  • Work with other departments to provide a continuum of care and contribute to Performance Improvement activities
  • Participate in unit meetings and in-services, acting as a resource for other personnel as needed
Requirements
  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
  • Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
  • Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training
  • Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
