Pediatric Hospitalist Section Chief Opportunity

Nationally recognized Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Section Chief to lead their team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in delivery of care, research, education, quality, and advocacy.

Responsibilities include leading a team of 4 full-time and 2 part-time physicians, as well as 3 junior attending physicians, who cover a 115-bed service at the main location in Philadelphia. The average number of patients seen is 12-15 per day, with a schedule of 7am-5pm and overnight call via phone, as well as weekend rounding required.

The hospital offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and a generous paid time-off allowance. Requirements include an MD or DO degree, unrestricted PA medical license, graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Residency, Board Certified in Pediatrics, and 2-5+ years of clinical experience in pediatrics.
