Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of designated areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  • Document daily assignments and maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing schedules and staff shortages.
  • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and report any equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Engage with staff and patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record keeping and equipment storage, including regular and hazardous waste handling.
  • Clean and maintain sterile areas, including operating rooms, sterile processing, and MRI facilities.
  • Deliver supplies to designated locations and operate laundry equipment as needed.
  • Perform various utility duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in housekeeping and/or service-related fields.
  • Floor care experience and ability to lift/push/pull 10lbs to 25lbs daily.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written instructions in English.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Strong communication skills, attitude, and attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
