Job Summary:
The Lake Erie College Of Osteopathic Medicine seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This is a full-time position that includes benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures
* Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers
* Perform duties in and around campus facilities; implement setup and takedown for various events; work closely with employees and the public to meet custodial needs
* Strip, clean and buff floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets as needed
* Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for cleaning and maintenance
* Wash walls and equipment; follow OSHA and Institutional safety procedures when required
* Lock and unlock assigned buildings; secure buildings when not in use

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* One (1) year of custodial experience preferred
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of various methods of maintaining, cleaning and preserving surfaces
* Effective communication skills; confident handling ambiguity and fluid situations

Compensation:
$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience
